Jaca Dragons enjoy Jacaranda events

The Jaca Dragons attended several events including the Troy Cassar Daley concert in Market Square, An Afternoon at the Pops which featured our paddler Lisa White (Butcher).

On Thursday following our morning training session we headed down to Market Square for a well-earned breakfast. Sunday, we participated in the fun run – it was a leisurely walk for us followed by coffee.

This is a bucket list event for many paddlers and is a 55km dragon boat paddle down the mighty Ord River from Lake Argyle to Kununurra. It’s not a race but an endurance challenge. There will be distance and endurance training incorporated in our sessions to help get these paddlers ready – we will all benefit and are excited for them.
