Ed, I have just finished reading the latest edition of Clarence Valley Independent and I am writing to say how impressed I am by the standard of presentation, content and reporting in the paper. This is a free paper and as such is facing strong competition from other better funded publications in the area. It seems you have responded to that competition by adding variety, colour and a renewed positive energy to the Independent. Being local and independent is important.
