Gulaptis pays tribute to fallen police officers

The community owes a debt of gratitude to the NSW Police Force and we should always remember that 252 NSW officers have lost their lives in the line of duty, Clarence MP Chris Gulaptis declared last Tuesday week. He was speaking on the occasion of National Police Remembrance day when he joined local officers and members of the public at a special service at Grafton’s Christ Church Cathedral. Deputy Premier and Minister for Justice and Police Troy Grant said the day is important to pay tribute to those who have perished while protecting the community. “This is also a time to reflect on the sacrifices made by families and loved ones of the men and women of the NSW Police Force,” Mr Grant said. “Today we come together to show our support for those who have lost a loved one in the line of duty and to remember those who we have lost.”
