With Christmas just around the corner, at the shop we have been getting into the spirit, the window is looking great, complete with a tree and decorations. 

We have lots of gift items and decorations or maybe the right outfit for your Christmas party. Shop hours are Tues-Fri 9.30am – 3.30pm and Sat 9.30am – 12.30pm.

Our Christmas morning tea will be held on December 6 at CRJC, from 9.30 for a 10am start. Always a popular event, with a delicious homemade morning tea, raffles, tombolas and entertainment. Tickets are just $20 each on sale from November 14 – 30, only from our pre-loved Clothing & Collectable Shop at 107 Pound Street, Grafton.

In conjunction with this event, we have commenced our Christmas raffle, so keep an eye out for our members selling tickets in the Shopping Centres. A big thank you to the businesses who have donated these wonderful prizes: 1st prize $200 Coles voucher & $200 Big W voucher; 2nd prize $100 Woolworths voucher & $25 Dan Murphy’s voucher; 3rd prize $100 Touch of Paradise voucher; 4th prize $60 Village Green voucher; 5th prize $50 Bunnings voucher; 6th prize $40 Crown Hotel voucher. Great prizes especially at this time of year.

The Friendlies Discount Pharmacy is another generous business who raffled a beautiful Jacaranda themed wood decoration in their shop, then matched the $160 raised with a donation $160 from them. The prize was donated by UHA supporter Graeme Bromley and Gerelle Blanchard was a very happy winner. Thank you, Friendlies, for your support, the money raised will go towards purchasing much needed equipment for the Grafton Base Hospital. 

Our next monthly meeting will be held on Wednesday November 22 at the GDSC, commencing at 1.30, we are hoping for a good turn up to finalise the details of our Christmas morning tea.
