Grafton Rifle Club Full-bore

Saturday May 20

Warm and sunny conditions with a very slight breeze led to some great results in Saturday’s Full-bore shoot.

With some of our regular members away representing the GRC at the DDDRA shoot in Qld, eight shooters commenced from the 400-yard mound. We managed just enough numbers to have a competition in Target Rifle and Hunter Class.

Alistair Dyason visiting from Casino scored 2 of the 3 possibles for the day with a 50 with 9 and a 50 with 3 in Target Rifle. Stephen Small scored one possible with a 50 with 5. Alistair took the Off-Rifle prize and Dave Gillies won the handicap in Target Rifle. Mitch Lovell won both the Off-Rifle and handicap in Hunter Class with Ben Higgins having his first Full-bore shoot close behind with a 94 with 5 Off-Rifle score.

Shooting will be from the 500-yard mound next Saturday 27, kicking off at 1pm.
