Grafton Rifle Club 90m results

A small but dedicated field of 19 shooters showed up for Saturdays 90m rimfire shoot. This is one of the trickiest shoots we hold as the little .22’s can be quite challenging at this range especially if you throw in a varying breeze. Top off rifle was Greg Mills-Thom with a nice 98(with 8), second was Peter Tyrie 90 (with 2), and third was Rob Durrington 89 (with 4). Only three possibles were shot with Mort having that honour. A Grade Aggregate scores- Peter Tyrie 99.6, Greg Mills-Thom 99.2, Mark Geary 89.4, Alan Edwards 88.4, Rob Durrington 93.8, Liza Georgelin 80. B Grade Aggregate scores- Greg Cole 95.8, Dave Grundy 89, Chris Mckenzie 84.8, Mick Cook 89.2, Chris Webb 84, Kate Power-Geary 68.2. C Grade Aggregate scores- Lindsay Cole 90.8, Peter Clarke 88.8, Sandra Cockbain 33.2, Warren Cockbain 59.2, Ryan Townsend 88.2, Phil Cross 68.4, Logan White 37.2. Members are reminded that the annual membership fees are due by May 21st and everyone should have received their renewal forms in the mail by now. Next week we will be back at the 100yard mound so bring either your rim or centrefire or even that favourite old rifle that hasn’t had an outing in a while, this will be followed by .22fclass then a monthly meeting at noon then the afternoon shoot will be from the 600yard mound at 1pm. The range is located at 434 Trenayr Road, opposite the Koppers log mill and adjacent to the Experiment Farm. Visitors and new shooters are always welcome. Rod Durrington
