Grafton Clay Target Club

With six full squads of members and visitors facing up for the competition and with fine calm conditions competition was always going to be intense at the usual monthly shoot of the Grafton Clay Target Club. With no Club Championship shooters were presented with a main event of a 50 target Continental trophy event and competition was equally as fierce particularly in the two top grades where two shooters came in with the perfect score of 50/50 in each of those grades needing shoot offs to determine the winners. In the AA Grade shoot off Geoff Jacobsen from the Richmond River Club who had been shooting almost flawlessly all day succumbed to Kerry Miller from the Port Macquarie Club however Geoff’s superb shooting all day earned him High Gun for the day with an almost flawless performance of only one point down at 149/150.
