A six and a half table Mitchell movement was played. N/S winners were Joan Stephenson and Jean Felton, second were Heather Brown and Kerry Harding and third were Corrie McGrath and Helyn Davison.

The E/W position was won by Carolyn Seymour and Dennis Ford, ahead of Geoff Hiatt and Pam Dougherty with Frances Hiatt and Joan O’Connor in third place.

Friday May 3

A four and half table Howell movement was played. Winners were Heather Grant and Frank Campbell, second were Claire Henry and Delma Frawley, third place went to Geoff and Fran Hiatt.

Congratulations to our club stalwarts Geoff and Fran Hiatt who came fourth at the Yamba congress last weekend in a strong field of forty teams. Well done also to Peter McGruer and John Sheean from Yamba for their second placing.
