Forty eight players took to the greens on Sunday for a single Stableford event. The best score of the day went to C Grade winner Graham Jackson with a fine 23 points closely followed by B Grade winner Peter Curd with 22 points and another 4 players with 21 points, nice golf Guys. There were two Waterboys from Sunday that I have been told about, Tom Gillett on the 1st and Greg Duffy on the 7th with his 2nd shot, it must have been a good tee shot Greg. Welcome to the club Gentlemen. Don’t forget that our AGM is on Sunday September 13th at the GDSC starting at 11am with drinks and nibbles to follow. Nominations for all positions close on Sunday September 6th, please consider nominating for the Committee as new members mean new ideas. Next Sunday will be a single Stableford event. Sunday September 6th will be a Stroke event for the Wal Hambly and Peter Chessell sponsored Monthly Medal. Starters will be R Rodd and J Leonard with G McCowen and P Curd to handle the results.
