Championship play in the 2015 GDSC Mixed Fours final last weekend saw a show and a half of bowls with J Pugh/M Toovey/T Lickiss (sub for R2V)/K Garner d J McWaters/M Buckley/M Walsh/B Buckley 24/20. The score was an indication of how close this game was with the lead changing every end, well done to all the players who put a great show of shot making… well worth a final. In a great round game of the 2015 GDSC H/Cap Singles, C Bennett had to fight hard to defeat the hard finishing G Samuel in a very good game 31/27, with more good games set for this week-end. The GDSC TNT (Tuesday Night Twilight) bowls was played under ideal conditions again with daylight saving making more enjoyable for a full house of 84 bowlers. Winner on the night to team R.K.R. We have our GDSC mixed TNT (Thursday Night Twilight) bowls starting November 12, with cards called 6.15pm play 16 end or 9pm. Last game is 17th December.
