Our Spring Fair was a wonderful event as usual, and it was great to have two of the Maclean Show Society’s Young Woman of the Year volunteers.

The winning raffle numbers were tickets 442517, 442509, 442487, 442562. Our Devonshire Teas were a big hit and encouraged community members to come and sit down and have a chat. 

Our CWA Awareness topic this year was about lobbying for improved women’s health services, especially maternity services.

We were proud to have Bettina from Tresillian to help us and Tiffany our member who has started a new parents group each Tuesday morning at our Hall.

CWA of NSW is calling for a review of rural maternity services to include consideration of reinstatement of rural and regional hospital birthing units where they have been closed.
