Oh, what a beautiful morning. Oh, what a beautiful day. I feel like Shirley Jones in Oklahoma this morning, and a quick walk around my beautiful garden has put spring in my step again.

I just love this time of year when all my orchids are flowering, and the clivias burst forth in magnificent sprays of cream and vibrant orange. And not to forget the primulas with their purple and white heads bopping about around the fountain.

All that joy in my garden made it easy to accept the fact that a little bird told me you guys cheered and clapped when you didn’t have to exercise last week. I am surprised it wasn’t a standing ovation! And here is me, sick in bed not wanting to share my nasty cold with you all. A game of heads and tails at least got you off your seats and provided a bit of competitive fun, and a sweet win for Dorothy.

The “matching” quiz sounded fun, but I would have failed miserably as I really don’t watch much telly. Leanne said Nigel’s quiz was much harder…I mean who would know that 45 billion Tim Tams are eaten each year?

It is just wonderful to know that our message is getting out into the community and people are now aware of Osprey and all it offers in the form friendship, laughter, morning tea, hot lunch and so much more. Edward won the Savoury prize and waltzed home with cheese and crackers to go with the wine he won the week before…if there is any left!
