I wish I’d had the opportunity to participate in the CVC telephone survey (CVI 15/2/23) and add my voice to the 39% of dissatisfied residents.

I would have mentioned (yet again) the inadequacy of the garbage collection and the parlous state of the iconic Yamba pool. Yamba is a tourist destination and especially in peak times (that coincide with hot weather) the garbage needs to be collected weekly and the pool needs to be cleaned more frequently. The stench from bins and pool spreads all over town. With mosquito borne diseases on the increase, the gutter outside 40 Clarence Street becomes a small dam. No wonder people are dissatisfied.
