Combined VIEW Clubs’ of the Clarence

Another exciting International Women’s Day will be celebrated at the Yamba Bowling Club on Friday March 11. Each year, the combined committees of Yamba Day, Yamba Evening, Maclean and Grafton VIEW Clubs plan a function with interesting guest speakers and fantastic local performers. This year will be no exception, with an added attraction of market stalls showcasing the wares of local professional and talented volunteer women. Come along with your family and friends to join the women of VIEW in their major fundraising event which supports disadvantaged children and their families via a major sponsorship program. Doors will open at 9am with morning tea provided. This is an opportunity to do some shopping at the stalls after being shown to your seat. Guests will be asked to be formally seated by 9.45am for program commencement at 9.55am. The cost of $25 includes morning tea, light lunch, guest speakers, entertainment, and lucky door prizes. Raffles and tombolas will also be available As numbers increase every year, with approximately 240 guests in 2015, women are encouraged to book their tables and/or individual seats early. Bookings are essential. Tickets for tables of 12 or individual seats MUST be reserved beforehand by phoning Joy Lauder 6646 1124 or emailing yanogi@bigpond.com (Please advise if you are booking a table as a club and notify any medical dietary requirements at time of booking) Payment for tickets MUST be made either by cheque made out to the Yamba Bowling Club (YBC) to Joy Lauder or directly to the YBC prior to RSVP date of February 26, 2016.
