Wednesday August 12 Vice President Lorraine Eggins welcomed all Past Presidents and guests to Maclean Bowling Club, handing the facilities of her club to Monica Jeffs, president of the Past Presidents. Monica also welcomed those present, inviting all to morning tea. Bowls Organiser Lyn read the cards for the mornings play, thanking the South Grafton bowlers for their impressive numbers attending the day. Three rinks of triples were played in beautiful sunny conditions on an exceptionally fast and challenging green. With a choice from four meals at the Chinese Restaurant for lunch everyone was able to order an enjoyable meal. Results Winners – L Johnson, J Cotten, C Kane. Runners up – S Austen, D McLachlan, E Triffitt. Raffle winners – L Eggins, D McLachlan, C Kane, H Nichols, E Triffitt, M Davis. President Monica presented Lorraine with gifts, thanking Lorraine and her host club. AGM 2015 All positions were vacated. New office bearers are as follows: President – Judy Abbott; Vice Presidents – Colleen Kane, Heather Nichol; Secretary – to be decided; Treasurer – Daph Robson; Committee – Gail Cupples, Joyce Cotten, Nola Watson; Bowls Organiser – Lyn Olssen; Publicity – Evelyn Triffitt (temporary). Outgoing President Monica presented new President Judy with her badge. Judy presented badges to all other office bearers.
