Jill Groth, leader of ‘Yamba Book’ group says “we certainly had a lively discussion at our second meeting at Yamba Golf Club. Our book for next month is Big Little Lies from Australian author Lianne Moriarty.” Attendance of fifty members ensured ‘Joy of Gardening’s’ March meeting was lively, around thirty enjoyed Sanna’s garden after the meeting, many thanks to Gina and Frank for sharing their bit of paradise. Grafton Garden Club invites U3a members to join them on their trip to Toowoomba’s spring spectacular from September 15-18, contact Yvonne 6644 9085. Movie buffs meet at their new venue at Raymond Laurie Sports centre on Tuesday 22, please be there for 6.30pm start.
