The club’s activities for 2019 wrapped up with our Christmas luncheon at the Lawrence Tavern. Members were treated to a tasty dish of Barramundi or succulent Fillet Mignon followed by Christmas desserts. Santa Clause made an unexpected appearance in his busiest period of the year to check on whether members had been naughty or nice. The festivities continued well into the afternoon.

Our first activity for 2020 will be a games afternoon from 1.30 at Rita and Barry Johnson’s home on January 24.

The next mid-day luncheon will be held at the Golden Dog Hotel at Glenreagh on Tuesday February 4. Other activities will include a Book Club meeting at Ron and Paula Payne’s home on February 12, the committee meeting on February 13 and monthly general meeting at South Grafton Services Club on February 20.

We will finish the month with “Choc Top Day” at the Saraton Theatre on February 25 and a games afternoon on February 28 (venue to be advised).
