Christmas is in the air

The festive spirit is in the air across the region with several community groups, local charities, and organisations hosting their annual Christmas parties during the past week and sharing some seasonal cheer with other Clarence Valley residents.

On December 12, members of the former Grafton Whiddon Auxiliary came together to enjoy a special Christmas lunch at the Crown Hotel in Grafton, while the Clarence Valley Naval and Mariners Association gave Townsend local Michelle Postle an early present when she was announced as the lucky winner of their Christmas hamper.

As members of the former Grafton Whiddon Auxiliary gratefully acknowledged the Crown Hotel for their hospitality, the Clarence Valley Naval and Mariners Association wished to thank the Clarence River Fishermen’s Co-Operative, The Fair Butcher, BWS and Ritchies IGA Maclean for their support.

Both groups would also like to with the Clarence Valley community a safe and Merry Christmas.
