Chatsworth Island CWA
Chatsworth Island CWA’s February meeting saw several members away but the decisions for the yearly functions were discussed and put in the calendar.
Our first North Coast group function is the Cookery, Handicraft and Ag Environment day held at Glenreagh on March 2. Several of our branch members are keen to attend this day as they have entered items in the handicraft section. Remember ladies we want more that one point in the cookery section this year so hopefully the cars down to Glenreagh will have cakes to be judged. Ag and Environment will have a guest speaker, his subject being environmental history.
Our branch meeting will be moved to the following Wednesday, March 9 at 9.30 am, meeting beginning at 10am. Following the meeting we will have a shared lunch then craft. Robyne Shea our craft officer will demonstrate and assist us in making artificial corsages. Items to make these corsages will be on hand.
Chatsworth Island branch will host the March North Coast group council meeting on the 16th at the Chatsworth Hall. This will be discussed at our branch meeting on the 9th.
