Bravehearts back in full swing

With a small turnout, we managed to play fours again and we realised how much fun golf is when it is a social game.

The front nine was tackled and despite some horrific scores we ended up with a beer and coffees in hand afterwards celebrating John Lockwood’s triumph with 21 points and both nearest the pins.

He took home a party pack, a large box of chocolates and a Sweet ‘n’ Spicy $10 meal discount voucher. Awesome work/play John, we look forward to many more exhibitions from you.

Only Phil Meek was able to challenge the winner scoring 20 points and claiming the Tanunda Hill 2015 Shiraz from the Barossa and after sampling his prize that night declared it a winner vowed to try and win another bottle asap. Third place was shared and as no-one claimed the major prize, Garry Taylor snaffled the Munro Machine $100 complimentary service for his coughing buggy (which was very timely). John Hopkins was awarded the Sassafras voucher for his effort.

Our favourite novice golfer, Margaret Worroll, also featured with her prize of a pack of 3 x golf balls to help with her continuing struggle with the golf gods. A fitting sacrifice, so we shall see some really good results very soon.

Join us as we continue the good fight at 8.30 – 9am every Tuesday at Maclean Golf Club and have some fun. Many thanks to all our friendly sponsors, including Caperberry Cafe, The Italian on the Hill Restaurant and Tartan Pizza.
