The donations also often include items of collectors’ interest and at this sale there a a number of bound copies of Popular Mechanics dating from the 1940’s. Several early medical volumes, nearing 100 years old, also make interesting reading.
The previous sale attracted a large number of DVD’s and this sale will include some 300 or more, as well as CD’s. As usual the children’s books are free to children, with nana’s asked for a donation. Proceeds are shared with the Clarence Library Service and Rotary projects, including rebuilding the helicopter pad at the Maclean Hospital. And despite inflation, the price of $8 to fill a bag remains unchanged.
