Bikes & Blacksmith at Lawrence

History comes alive at Lawrence Museum on Saturday August 27. Visitors can expect to see around 75 historic motorbikes on display as members of the Clarence Valley Historic & Enthusiasts Motorcycle Club line up for judging as part of their weekend rally.

Club spokesperson, Terry Ryan, explained, “The bikes will have a sticker on their headlights, and visitors can identify their age category. The gold stickers are pre-1940. The bikes will be stationed around the museum building and in the gardens, with easy access for viewing.”

The Lawrence Forge will also be a hive of activity with the blacksmith firing up the forge for demonstrations.

Visitors are welcome from 1pm to 4pm. Admission is only $5.
