Following on from the Clarence Valley Independent’s front page story on December 6 last year, Aydan Wyse continues to clean up rubbish on the side of the road. Aydan said that he has been picking up rubbish for about three months now. “Over that time I’ve collected rubbish from Goodwood Island, from the Pacific Highway to Iluka, Tullymorgan, Ashby, Chatsworth, Angourie Road, Yamba Road, and Harwood to Maclean and even from Woodburn to Evans Head and Broadwater,” Adyan said. “So far I’ve collected over 1000, 50 litre bags of rubbish. “I’d just like to say thank you to the community and everyone that’s got behind me and supported me over the three months. “I’ve had people pulling over and giving me stuff and encouraging me and the good vibes from them, means heaps to me,” he said.
