Celebrating their talents across a variety of sports, several Clarence Valley teenagers were presented with their Local Sporting Champions Awards by Federal Member for Page Kevin Hogan during a ceremony at the South Grafton Bowling Club last month.

After excelling on the hockey fields, tennis courts, footy fields, athletics ovals, gymnasiums, and in the surf at state, national, and international levels, Mr Hogan said he was proud to present the group with their awards, along with a $500 grant, from the Local Sporting Champions program, which provides financial assistance to youths aged 12 to 18, to assist them in pursuing their talents in their respective sports.

Mr Hogan said he was pleased to meet the group on January 27, and after congratulating them on their individual achievements, wished them all the best for their future.
