Ed, It appears to me that Australia is at war with a religiously orientated block of immigrants who threaten the peaceful future of their would-be generous hosts. I think that most Australians would support some adjustment to immigration requirements covering resettlement aspirants that should insist in fealty to this country if granted sanctuary. Australia is not as wealthy as it once was and, not withstanding any other argument, support of its own citizens who are in want must come first. Thomas Macindoe, Yamba
