A big thank you to Grafton Ghosts

On Saturday 9th July, a Pink Footy Day was held at Frank McGuren field to help Grafton Breast Cancer Support Group raise funds. The games were Ghosts and Rebels conflicts and were nail-biting. The Grafton Ghosts, our sponsors, helped us raise a terrific amount of money. The first grade Ghost’s players paid for their “pink” jerseys and donated that amount to the support group…thanks guys. Colin Speed collected donations in the pink buckets and three $100 clubs were completed. Thanks to the fantastic generosity of the people of the Clarence Valley and the Ghosts, nearly $2,000 was raised to help pay for the needs of breast cancer patients and their families in the Clarence Valley. This money will be used to pay for wigs, compression sleeves, out of pocket medical and transport costs and practical home help. The Ghosties Old Boys also made a donation. Tremendous thanks also goes to the Ghosts Junior Club. They raised $800 for the support group on their Pink Footy Day. Thanks so much, Ghosties. Janette Nethercott
