90 years and still on the Greens

  On Tuesday April 12 members at Maclean Women’s Bowling Club celebrated Dot Scott’s 90th birthday with a cake which was enjoyed by all present. There are entry sheets in the locker room for Club Championship Triples on Thursday June 16, closing at noon on Friday June 3, and for Club Championship Fours on Thursday July 21, closing at noon on Friday July 8. The District Singles will be played at Maclean starting on Tuesday May 10 and markers are required for that day. There is list on the board for the names of those who can help. Mixed championships will start on Saturday June 4 and the entry sheet is on the men’s board with a closing date of April 26. An overnight trip to Tweed Heads with a game of bowls at Coolangatta has been arranged for November 22 and 23. Starting on Sunday May 15, bowls games will be shown on SBS from 1pm to 2pm. There are several new flyers in the folder in the locker room for events at other clubs including Yamba and Ballina.
