Yamba’s premier Auto Electrician

cvreview-imagesc   Mark is a 4th generation local of the Clarence Valley. He began his apprenticeship in 1989, and Donovan’s Auto Electrics opened in Yamba in March, 1997. Fast, efficient service along with communicating with customers is key to our success. But when should you see an auto electrician? Simple, if you think it has wires going to it, it’s an auto electricians specialty. If you have any warning lights on your dash e.g. check engine light, ABS or SRS (airbag) lights or battery light, we can handle it. Whether it be power windows, central locking, vehicle difficult to start, trailer and caravan wiring, all vehicle lighting and dual battery systems, then give us a call. We also repair or replace keyless entry remote controls and program replacement immobiliser keys. The workshop is also licenced and equipped to service all automotive air conditioning systems. Entering into summer, Mark is offering free car A/C checks so you can keep your cool this season. Mark regularly attends training courses and seminars, as well as upgrading diagnostic equipment and tools to stay ahead of the ever evolving technology in new cars. With modern up to date scan tools, understanding and diagnosing faults with modern vehicles is possible without having to travel to dealerships. Data acquisition is very important and Mark has access to several manufacturers so he can quickly obtain accurate, workshop manual quality information about your vehicle. “Many customers think you just plug in a scan tool and it tells you the vehicles problem. Not so. Scan tools give you a clue to what circuit has logged a fault with the associated computer and then it’s up to the technician to prove whether the fault lay in that particular sensor, wiring, connection, computer, voltage irregularity or, in fact, the fault logged is just a symptom of another cause”. But cars isn’t all that Mark specialises in. He repairs all makes and models of golf buggies and carts, supplies quality Trojan batteries for the carts and can repairs most battery chargers. “I’ve had wheelchairs, mobility scooters, irrigation equipment, roller door remote controls and even electric skateboards brought in for repairs over the years. If it’s not 240 volt, it eventually makes it to my shop”. All parts sold are the best quality at a competitive price. “I don’t sell rubbish as I don’t want any failures under warranty or after the warranty period expires. In fact some of my LED trailer lights I stock, even carry a lifetime warranty and the Gold class series of batteries carry a 40 month warranty.
