The weekends wild weather did not put a dampener on the end of season presentation dinner, held at the Clubhouse on Saturday evening. Congratulations and thank you to all members for another successful season. The 2015-16 season saw over 100 education awards and 45 patrol attendance awards presented to members. In competition, William Brighton was named Club Champion and Joe Dougherty was the winner of the Carl Schaeffer Memorial Handicap Surf Race. Special congratulations to Club Person of the Year, Alan Schofield, Junior Club Person of the Year, Alanna Colwell and Lifesaver of the Year, Matt Saunders. The Yamba SLSC Annual General Meeting will be held at 2pm on Sunday 31st July at Yamba SLSC. Yamba SLSC meat raffles are on every Saturday evening at the Yamba Golf and Country Club. This Saturday Jan & John Snelling, Alan Schofield, and Warwick Mawhinney will be selling tickets from 5.30pm, with the draw starting at 6.30pm.
