Yamba Evening VIEW Club

We are already up to our April meeting and Easter will be here before we know it, hope the bunny visits your house!

There are some exciting events coming up. Our guest speaker for this meeting will be Ellie Starkey, an accredited practising dietitian working in Yamba at the Raymond Laurie Centre. She will give us some helpful advice on how to help us keep living a healthful lifestyle without unnecessary restrictions

Tuesday May 7….save the date, we are holding a special community event open to all. Will Elrick (mountaineer and motivational speaker) will share his amazing story with us, this event will help raise funds to keep our students in the ‘Learning for Life Program’ run by the Smith Family and VIEW Clubs help us to give an opportunity to a student to rise above poverty and realise their hopes and dreams.

Please bring along your partner or a friend and be uplifted by Wills life story, don’t miss it.

Our April meeting is to be held at our usual venue, Yamba Shores Tavern from 6pm for a 7pm start. Please contact Genie Drummond on 0415 312 725 or email genie.drummond@gmail.com with your acceptance or apology no later than March 28.

Thanks to all of our members and the committee for the help they gave to make International Women’s Day such a success, what a wonderful giving group of women, from baking slices, delivering lunches, wrapping gifts for tombola, all with a smile, much appreciated.

Social morning tea will resume again this month, and a date and venue will be given at the meeting.

Our wishes for a speedy recovery go out to any of our members who are not feeling well we look forward to seeing you soon.

Remember, ‘follow the Bunny’, he has chocolate; Happy Easter.
