A walk for mental health and wellbeing, took place around the Clarence Valley last week, to acknowledge World Mental Health Day on October 10.

The ‘Steps to Wellbeing Walk’ was held at Ford Park in Yamba on Tuesday October 8, which was hosted by Our Healthy Clarence and at Barnier Park, Junction Hill on Thursday October 10, which was hosted by Grafton ‘headspace’.

The focus this year was on ‘suicide prevention’ and the organised event gave the community an opportunity to come together and support each other and to individually reflect on how we can work together to help prevent suicide within our community.
