The Grafton Aero Club Inc. is hosting their seventh Wings and Wheels open day this Sunday June 23, from 10am – 2pm at the South Grafton Aerodrome.

Grafton Aero Club secretary Kevin Wilson said that there will be a variety of clubs and individuals exhibiting their winged and wheeled pride and joy.

“These range from hot rods, classic, vintage, sports, touring and race cars, plus go-karts, motorcycles and model aircraft,” Mr Wilson said.

“There are also exhibitors and demonstrations of stationery engines, the fire brigade and SES. There will also be various types of recreational and general aviation aircraft and helicopters on display.

“We hope to have the Warbird adventure flights available again, as well as recreational trial introductory flights and aeroplane joy flights.

“The event is, as always, free for exhibitors and the public. There will be a gold coin donation, with the charity this year being the Oncology Ward at Grafton Base Hospital,” he said.

So grab the kids and get along early and check out the many wonderful displays at the South Grafton Aerodrome, this Sunday.
