Ed, Re the Clarence valley Council SRV survey… which the ratepayers really can’t afford! Like the campaigns, i.e. ‘We’re Listening’…we can’t afford to do! Chopping down the camphor laurel trees at Maclean, restoring the bank and the damage after they have gone…we really can’t afford to do! Like the $1.3 million dollar park in Maclean…we really can’t afford to have! How much has the council spent over the last few years on consultants, fees, projects, damage caused by their neglect (no maintenance)? How many unwise decisions and how much is spent on increasing wages? What we the ratepayers can’t afford – is this Clarence Valley Council – NO INCREASES – JUST DECREASES! Colleen Greenwood, Maclean
