The United Hospital Auxiliary have been busy with the gift shop located inside the Grafton Base Hospital on the ground floor. The hours are Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm. Since the shop began trading it has been a very successful fund raiser. All monies raised by the UHA is used to purchase vital equipment for the hospital. The Auxiliary has recently bought a portable Point of Care Ultrasound for a cost of almost $69,000, the Dr`s are very excited as it is used in Emergency, ICU, Theatre and the wards. If you would like to assist in our cause you can help by donating any suitable goods to our shop. Our next meeting to be held on Monday 24th August commencing at 1pm and held in the Education Centre at the rear of the hospital. Following the meeting afternoon tea is provided. All welcome.
