Angourie Boardrider’s Tahlia Redgard travelled to Coffs Harbour on the weekend to compete in the Aussie Titles. She made it through to the finals and came away with a third in the three foot playful waves at McCauleys Beach. Redgard is now focussed on her upcoming event in Japan and is aiming to qualify for the women’s World Championship Tour. In addition to her hectic training schedule, Redgard still finds time to surf with, and inspire, the up and coming young girls of the area, encouraging them to take risks in their surfing and, most importantly, have fun. Angourie Boardriders is currently seeking any local businesses who may want to help support this local surfer get to Japan and beyond. For further information please contact angourieboardriders@gmail.com. We look forward to following her success.
