Clarence Valley residents are reminded they have until January 18 to comment on a draft policy that aims to define responsibilities for riverbank protection works.
The draft policy, which is now on exhibition, explains the Clarence Valley Council won’t undertake riverbank protection works where only private property benefits.
The draft policy also provides detail of the approvals required for riverbank protection works.
