Theft by stealth

Ed, When you think about our hospitals and the amount of donations given by the people of various towns and the committees who work their backsides off on the various auxiliaries, clubs, hotels and business people to raise monies as a means of help to buy equipment to help run them, it would be a real slap in the mouth if it was sold off by the government to private enterprise, as it was not donated for that purpose and the people in the local areas concerned are not being given any say in what happens to their hospital. It could be considered “Theft by stealth.”   Charles John Lincoln, Gulmarrad
