Stamp your identity on your trailer – new myPlates support Marine Rescue NSW
The latest addition to the myPlates range of personalised plates is a trailer design specifically for Marine Rescue NSW.
Funds from the new plate will be directed to Marine Rescue NSW, the volunteer emergency service dedicated to saving lives on the water.
Incorporating the MRNSW logo, colours and mission statement, the new plate, ideally suited to boat trailers, is a great way for boat owners to show their support for the service’s valuable work to assist and protect the NSW community.
MRNSW has more than 3,000 professionally trained and equipped volunteer members based in 45 rescue units along the NSW coastline and inland on the Alpine Lakes in the Snowy Mountains and the Murray River at Moama.
MRNSW Commissioner Stacey Tannos thanked NSW Roads and Maritime Services and myPlates for developing the new trailer plates and directing the proceeds to support the volunteers’ lifesaving work.
“We’re sure boat owners will be keen to take this opportunity to stamp their personality on their trailers as well as their vehicles, knowing they’re supporting a worthwhile cause at the same time,” he said.
“MRNSW receives valuable financial support from the State Government and members of the boating community through their boat licences and registration but we still rely heavily on our fundraising to provide our world class rescue services.
“This is another way to help ensure we can continue our work to help boaters stay safe on the water. We look forward to seeing our MRNSW plates at boat ramps right along the coastline.”
