A former local business owner and 1992 Matron of Honour, Mrs Mavin owned and managed popular store Clothes Pegg in Grafton for more than 30 years and has a long and proud association with the Grafton Jacaranda Festival.

Mrs Mavin will join in the festivities during Jacaranda Thursday this week in Market Square, Grafton, on November 2, and will celebrate her 90th birthday on November 5.
