SPAR Maclean has done it again.
The locally owned supermarket collected a swag of awards on Thursday, 16 June during SPAR’s regional meeting, at Coffs Harbour.
Owner of SPAR Maclean Bob Little said that out of around 40 other SPAR stores in the region, SPAR Maclean took out Grocery Department of the Year, Fruit and Veggie Department of the Year and Deli Department of the Year.
“We were also nominated and were finalists in the Dairy and Frozen Department of the Year,” said Mr Little.
SPAR Maclean not only took out these awards but topped it off with the coveted regional ‘SPAR Store of the Year’ award.
Mr Little said that this award will see the Maclean supermarket go through to the National SPAR annual awards, to be held on the Gold Coast at the end of July.
“For me, it’s recognition of the dedication of our staff,” he said.
“It’s confirmation of their level of commitment.
“It’s the passion that they demonstrate in providing such an outstanding service to the people of Maclean.”
