Ritchies IGA Maclean – staff Vox Pop

What is it like to work in the world’s best IGA Supermarket? What makes it the best?

Lisa Armstrong – I love working with the people here, it’s a friendly team. We all work so well together. I love interacting with the customers, that makes it a fun place to work.

Bel Thomas – It’s cool that we get to work here, and we have become the best. Everyone oozes friendliness and great work ethic and that makes us what we are.

Esther Tholen – It’s the best because we all have an eye for detail, and we are constantly checking that produce is fresh. The camaraderie with the staff makes it a fun place to work.

Mike Baxter – I think this is such a good place to work in I’m willing to drive from Grafton every day. It’s not just our team it’s Ritchies investment in the local community, not just the décor, but the style of the store makes it pleasant. Overall, it’s the team that makes it work.

Vickie Casey – We have an excellent store manager (Matthew Saunders) who shows pride in his work, and it rubs off on all the staff. We all have pride in our work as well and we are the friendliest team in the business. The customers make it a privilege to work here too.

Taylah Francis – I love it here. It’s a great environment to work in, it’s almost like a little family we have here. Matt is a great boss and has trained us really well, we would not be in the position we are without him as our manager. We are very friendly with our customers, and we have a great range of stock. If we don’t have it, we do our best to arrange it and we are always listening to customers’ feedback.
