Rescue Helicopter benefits from Computer Club

  A cheque presentation was made to the Westpac Life Saver Rescue Helicopter Service, at the Clarence Valley Seniors Computer Club’s annual Christmas party, which was held at the Clarence Hotel in Maclean on Friday. The cheque for $1000 was presented to helicopter services Crew Chief Roger Fry by the Computer Club’s President Dennis Knoll. Life membership to the Computer Club was presented for the first time to tireless worker Gavin Loy for his dedication to the club and in gratitude for the work he performs to the club as their IT man and repairing the clubs computers free of charge and keeping them going. The Club is having an open day on January 18, at 48 River Street, Maclean between 9am and 12, for anyone who is interested in joining.
