The Maclean Patchwork & Quilters have all pulled together, donating fabric and having a working bee to produce a beautiful quilt for the Bundjalung – Baygal Warriors Rugby League Football Club. The club will be taking part in the NSW Aboriginal Rugby league Knockout, to be held on the October long weekend in Sydney. They are raising money for accommodation and travel for around 25 people. The players and staff are from, or have ties with, the surrounding areas including, Maclean, Grafton, Casino, Lismore, Ballina, and Tabulam. Apart from the quilt, they have a TV and a NRL Rabbitohs signed 2016 jersey in the raffle. The money raised will help pay for the players transport and accommodation. Raffles will be held in Maclean, Grafton and Casino. Flyers can be found on Bundjalung Baygal Warriors Facebook page. Alison Merrin
