Great weather and good fields enjoyed the 16th year of State Of Origin ‘Mate against Mate’ which was won by Queensland in a nail biter 323 to 322. Saturday was a Medley Single Stableford with the following results:

Ladies Best Stableford – Sandra Morrow 37pts and Ladies Shield winner; r/up – Sue Burgess 35pts c/b; 2nd r/up – Lyn Robertson 35pts.

Men’s Best Stableford – Brian Kembrey 39pts c/b and Men’s Shield winner; r/up – Russell Eggmolesse 39pts c/b; 2nd r/up – Chris Thomas 39pts.

NTP’s: 1/10 Sandi Mayoh and Jim Cazalet; 6/15 Merrilyn Whitton and Dave Burns; 8/17 Ligouri Kent and Michael Burns. Ball un down went to 35pts. The Squashed Toad Shield for lowest QLD score went to Pattie Bond 26pts and The Proud Cocky Trophy for lowest NSW score went to Graham Kent 24pts.

Sunday was a 4 person Medley Ambrose that saw a great size field with plenty of decorated carts enjoy heaps of fun and laughter with the following results:

Overall winners with 51.75 was Trevor Bennett, Alex Robison, Simon Farrell and Matthew Passlow; r/up with 56.75 was Greg Speirs, Matt Farrell, Michael Page and Andrew Graham; 2nd r/up with 57 was John Dickson, Warren Bingham, Deb Rapp and Matt Campbell.
