After last week’s epic DR Club challenge, it was back to normal this week with 21 players fronting for a 9 hole Stableford event and the fact that the course was back to its best was evidenced by all placegetters beat their handicaps by at least 2 strokes. In A Grade Peter Jarman won the money with 24 points with Erik Pedder 23 and Andie Duke-Yonge 20. Richard Ardin was only able to take out B Grade because his wife Ann was at home sick but even she would have to admit his 24 points would have been hard to beat. Garry Taylor, his playing partner, actually finished with his shoes on to be runner up with 23 points and Wendy Turner took 3rd with 21 points. On the 12th Erik Pedder won the Yamba Barber Shop NTP finishing with a nice birdie and Alek Miltiadou took home the Sassafras voucher. The Yamba Pro Shop voucher was won by Peter Jarman on the 17th with Keith Britton taking the Bean Scene Cafe voucher. There were no match play rounds this week but we are hoping to play the last of the quarters next round. We welcome golfers of any standard to join us on Tuesday mornings for a social 9 holes.
