It was another fun filled day on Friday, enhanced with lovely blueberry muffins for morning tea and a delicious homely stew and mash for lunch.

Bev was away visiting family, but Peggy ably stepped into the gap as she grasped our routine. Thanks Peggy, and it is great to have you on board.

Welcome back to Joan and Heather who have been absent for a few weeks. It is time someone told all those doctors who want their appointments on Fridays “to get a life”. Friday is fun day! Anyway girls glad to see you back.

Leanne called Bingo in Joe’s absence, and I have to say she took the joke award this week with a pearler. Keep those jokes coming in folks.

The lucky door prize was won by Chris, and Beryl and Col each won the $20 vouchers. And we have to take a swab from Jimmy who won three Bingo prizes. Good on ya mate.

Leanne would like you to please ring her if you know you are not coming, or if you are going to arrive after 10am. It is a matter of catering and we must inform the staff ASAP to ensure the day runs smoothly.
