North Coast Regional Student Representative Council Symposium
On Thursday May 24, four junior SRC members attended the school leadership conference at Southern Cross University Lismore. Paris Brailsford, Linken Coram, Ember Edie and Lachlan Maxwell, did a fantastic job at representing our school.
They were required to stand in front of the others schools students who attended and give a run down on “what our school SRC does”. The students listened to many inspirational leaders provide a run down on their leadership journeys and how the roles they took on in school prepared them for university and their careers. They mentioned skills such as, resilience, empathy, courage of convictions, being a good listener, be organised and having discipline. Also having sincere enthusiasm, integrity and showing genuine care and interest in what you are doing.
