Nominate for state community awards now

The NSW/ACT Regional Achievement & Community Awards have been launched for 2016, and the state-wide regional search has begun. The awards are all about the passion of people who are committed to making NSW and ACT a better place to live. If someone has made an impact or difference in your life or has impressed you with their community spirit, why not nominate them. Nominations are now open in the following categories: • Department of Primary Industries Crown Reserve Trust – Community Manager’s Award, • Prime Super Community of the Year – Population Under 15,000 Award; • Department of Primary Industries Crown Reserve Trust – Corporate Manager’s Award; • Prime Super Community of the Year – Population Over 15,000 Award; • MOA Benchmarking Community Service in Aged Care Award; • Prime Super Employer Excellence in Aged Care Award; • 1st Choice Rentals Volunteering Award; and, • Dobija Print World Events and Tourism Award. Great prizes are up for grabs, with either $2,500 from Commonwealth Bank for six of the categories or an air time package on PRIME7 Television for the Events and Tourism Award category winner. Nominate someone that has touched your life or who has made a significant contribution to your community.
