Community groups have been given an extra month to consider an application for funding from the Clarence Valley Council’s popular community initiatives program.
Community projects officer, Sammy Lovejoy, said the opening date for applications had been pushed back from February 1 to March to allow for community groups to meet and plan their year.
Ms Lovejoy said groups interested in applying for support should read the community initiatives program guidelines and donations policy at www.clarence.nsw.gov.au/smartygrants to confirm eligibility before they applied.
Not-for-profit organisations or groups/individuals (auspiced by a NFP organisation) with projects/initiatives from July 1, 2019, to June 30, 2020, can apply online via the SmartyGrants link at www.clarence.nsw.gov.au/smartygrants once the round is open.
For inquiries about the SmartyGrants program or to be added to the grants email list, call Ms Lovejoy on 6642 0957 or email email@example.com.
