103.1 FM embarks on exciting times. New brand, new location and new staff. The station has welcomed on board their new Sales & Marketing Manager, Nicole Mussett. Nicole, has a significant background in marketing, recently moving to the area from Melbourne where she ran her own successful Direct Marketing Business for 17 years before selling up for a tree and sea change. “This is a fantastic opportunity for me, to be able to come in on the ground floor and rebuild this station, it’s brand and it’s listeners. We are working towards our relaunch and can’t wait to unveil all the plans we have for the Station. What I have loved about Grafton since moving here is the sense of community, so to be able to work with the Board here to really promote that in radio, is amazing” says Nicole of her new role at Loving Life 103.1FM. The studio at 91 Fitzroy Street is beginning to take shape, thanks to the tireless efforts of generous volunteers and the support of the business community, without which this venture would not be possible. The fantastic location of the studio opposite Spotlight, will help raise its profile and provide a very central point for community interest groups to drop by and really broadcast their message locally. The President, Ken Tucker, in welcoming Nicole to her new role said “The station, in its 17th year of operations in the Clarence Valley, is essentially here to serve the interests of our local community. We link our hearts and hands to make a contribution to ways in which we can all love life to the full in this wonderful place.”
